New Graphic Design Studio Build in Salisbury, Wiltshire

The all new Design Pit HQ is finished and open for business here is our new home of Salisbury in Wiltshire. After a self-designed garage conversion, the new studio is now fully operational.

Design Pit director Gareth Robertson commented, “The garage started off life as an underused space at our new house. The previous owners parked their car in it but only really used it for storage of small garden items after that. I recognised that there was space here that could be utilised and we could maintain garage storage as well”.

The garage was studded out and plasterboarded at roughly the halfway point, allowing a spacious studio area and a large garage storage space access by the rear garage doors.

“The transformation in the space is there to see. This studio isn’t a shed, it isn’t a garden room, this is a proper, purpose built studio that is perfect for Design Pit to operate from.

As an agile agency operating with strategic collaborative partners, all we need is a dedicated space with good quality internet access. And now we have this”.

“I won’t deny it; the studio is a full on man cave! My wife won’t allow my sports memorabilia to go up in the house so it takes pride of place in there now!”

“We’ve actually ended up with additional storage space that we don’t need right now but I’m sure that in time it’ll all get filled up.

I’ve added in some bells and whistles with a 32″ TV, Amazon FireStick and Alexa. Nice little finishing touches to a great workspace!”
