Supporting Local Projects in Salisbury

During May, we were asked to help with an art installation project here in Salisbury.

Local architect and artist Tim Scrace had recently won a competition to create a large sculpture in the high street and the installation was due to take place imminently. Part of the extended project team was PR consultant Lucy Rouse and she connected us with project manager James Gough.

James went on to explain that they needed help with the artwork set up for the typographic elements in the piece. These spanned across several panels, floor graphics and a couple of smaller pieces with details on what the project signifies and how it should be experienced and used.

After taking a brief and matching fonts with the Tim’s vision, we carried out the artworking of the typography.

The various pieces were set up as outlined files, to correct scale and supplied to sign production company Signs Express Salisbury. The install of the full sculpture took place in late May and is drawing interest from shoppers and visitors alike.
